Since their debut in 2011, Allt studio has made a name for itself by offering simple and sleek furniture and light fixtures with a poetic flair. The company's who's name is an abbreviation of their tagline, "all that we like to do," consists of Peter Simonik and Elena Bolcekova, who studied together at the Institute of Industrial Design in Bratislava, Slovakia.
We're particularly impressed by their desk lamp shaped like a CCTV camera, which they named "Who Is Watching You?"

iDesign talked to the design duo about the piece and their focus on simple yet thought-provoking design.
Jacob Kleinman: What was the inspiration for this piece?
Allt Studio: Inspiration comes from CCTV camera - which takes part in city life as a passive observer - that is there to see, but not to show who is watching. It was made as part of a city-themed collection for Designblok 2011 in Prague.
JK: How does it represent your style and vision as designers?
AS: It is simple, functional, combines materials that act as a free angular joint without complicated small parts. And let it hang on the wall, it also makes you wonder.
JK: How has the piece been received by critics and consumers?
AS: Since it was presented the lamp has caught attention of both design curators and public. It was received well, to the extend expected.
JK: How did you become interested in design?
AS: Quite naturally, making things is very fulfilling.
