Celine Dion greeted hundreds of mourners during a public wake for her late husband, Rene Angelil. The "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" singer appeared at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal on Thursday, which is just ahead of his funeral scheduled Friday.
The 47-year-old singer shared comforting words and thanks with family, relatives, fans and public personalities as they filed past Rene's open casket. Us Weekly shared that both the wake and the funeral will be held in the same location where the couple tied the knot in 1994.

Also, the will be a national funeral for the music producer at the same venue on Friday. Fans around the globe will also have a chance to witness the event as it will be live-streamed worldwide.
"From anywhere across the globe, it will be possible to follow René Angélil's state funeral online tomorrow," Celine posted on a tweet on Thursday. The "Beauty and the Beast" singer also shared the link of a website especially made in his honor.
To recall, International Design Times previously reported that Rene succumbed to throat cancer last week.
