Justin Bieber showed off his newest hairstyle on his Instagram page on Friday channeling the latest trend, "mermaid hair." The 21-year-old star fixed his mane with a purple ombré fashion that's currently the new hot today.

According to Billboard, the pop giant debuted a darker shade of purple locks on his back and lighter, lilac hue in the front. He gave his followers a glimpse of his new tresses with a series of photos on the photo sharing website.

In one picture, he was sitting on the hood of his red Ferrari letting his hair cover his face while wearing a black Brooklyn Projects sweatshirt paired with baggy brown pants and a pair of white sneakers. In another, he was taking a selfie in front of a body mirror displaying, not just his mane, but, his naked body as well while the bottom part was covered with a white towel.

"Back in the gym," he wrote the caption. Meanwhile, E! News added the "Love Yourself" singer is preparing himself for his first upcoming world tour after being away in the spotlight for almost three years.

In his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Nov. last year, he revealed that his Purpose World Tour will kick off on March 9, 2016, in Seattle. For the full list check his tour dates here.

In other news, Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are evidently an item today, as seen on their photo-sharing accounts. The two stars were displaying a lot of PDA, but in spite of their sweetness, the 19-year-old model's father, Stephen Baldwin, cleared that the rumoured couple actually doesn't have relationship, Perez Hilton cited.

"Mr. Bieber is a wonderful young man ... hugely talented. [He's] got a whole lot more success ahead of him," he instead said about Bieber. Hailey, on the other hand, was not mad on his dad, but approved of what he said as she twitted, "I just wanna keep my private life private and my family helps me do that."
