After four years of being together, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield parted ways in October because of their busy schedules. However, reports have emerged that the 27-year-old actress is using their split as the center of attention to promote her new movie with Ryan Gosling — "La La Land."

It was recently said that the Canadian musician is the "Superbad" star's favorite co-actor as they have already worked with two films before, 2011's "Crazy Stupid Love" and "Gangster Squad" in 2013. According to Master Herald, the two are "singing beautiful music together" and is now an item.

On the contrary, surfacing rumors said that the move is just to publicized Gosling and Stone's third movie together. Additionally, there are reports saying that the "Easy A" star and the 32-year-old American-English actor didn't really break up.

In fact, the reason Garfield has not been seen with Stone is because he's filming his latest film, "Hacksaw Ridge" overseas. The couple is, evidently, avoiding any interviews about the real thing on their relationship.

It has also been said that the pair is trying to keep their affair away from the media's spotlight. Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly added that Eva Mendes, Gosling's partner, is becoming bothered by his longtime boyfriend's alleged closeness with Stone.

There are new reports claiming that the 41-year-old designer is afraid that the father of her child, Esmeralda Amada Gosling, is already cheating. "It doesn't matter how many times Ryan tells Eva that he and Emma are just friends, she knows there's an attraction there," a source told Star magazine via In Touch.

"Eva stops by the set and constantly calls Ryan to see what he's up to. If she gets his voicemail, she'll text and text until he gets back to her," the insider added. "The trust just isn't there, and she thinks it's time they went their separate ways."
