The 69-year-old Susan Sarandon was now hailed as the new face of L'Oréal Paris. The French beauty giant has chosen the veteran actress as the star of the "Woman Worth" campaign to show that every woman of all ages is "worth it."

"When L'Oréal Paris and Cyril [Chapuy, L'Oréal Paris brand global president] first approached me, I was so flattered. The brand has always been a leader in helping in the empowerment and development of women," the Academy Award winner said in a statement, according to People. "The very first time I heard 'Because I'm Worth It,' it definitely was a shift in the framing of why you should look good. It had to do with women becoming the master of their own lives and decisions. It's an extremely powerful statement that has transcended time."

Sarandon will be joining other spokesmodels like Helen Mirren, 70, and also the 70-year-old Diane Keaton. Evidently, the French cosmetic is trying to prove something as the brand chose to have a brand ambassador on their late 60s to early 70s.

Yahoo! Beauty added that L'Oréal is saying that "beauty clearly transcends age." In fact, they opted to have an endorser in every generation, from 55-year-old Julianne Moore, 47-year-old Naomi Watts, 32-year-old Lara Stone, 28-year-old Blake Lively and the 23-year-old Karlie Kloss.

"Beauty comes from the inside; it's a state of mind. I'm proud to be a part of their message and to represent the L'Oréal Paris women," Sarandon said. "The emphasis is not on becoming more attractive to lure somebody in, but to be all you can be because you love beauty and you love yourself and want to treat yourself well," she told British Vogue.
