iPhone 5S Reveal And Release Date

One of the most anticipated things to take place during the live stream of Apple's September keynote will be the reveal of the iPhone 5S. With leaked photos, schematics, patents and more of the iPhone 5S cluttering the Internet, the device couldn't be more highly anticipated. As we know, the iPhone 5S will be the first smartphone CEO Tim Cook has had total control over creating since the death of Apple founder Steve Jobs. The iPhone 5S is rumored to release 10 days after the September keynote on September 20, 2013. If rumors are to be believed, the iPhone 5S will come equipped with beefed up specs such as an improved 13mp camera with dual flash and slow-motion camera feature, a new A7 Samsung chipset said to be 31 percent faster than the old chipset, a fingerprint scanner for increased security and identity authentication and several other attractive features. The device in essence will be a refresh of the iPhone 5 and, therefore, will look very similar in size and shape to the iPhone 5, with major changes to Apple smartphones expected in 2014 when the iPhone 6 releases. The latest iPhone 5S is also rumored to come in four colors now: the traditional black and white along with a newly added champagne gold and steely graphite color.

iPhone 5C Reveal And Release Date

Alongside the iPhone 5S, we've heard that Apple is expected to launch a new budget iPhone, the iPhone 5C. This iPhone will be a new frontier for Apple as it incorporates a rounded body that resembles a mash-up between the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 3GS and comes incased in a scratch resistant plastic shell. The iPhone 5C would have some diminished specs to keep it more affordable, but will be offered to consumers in 6 bright colors. Multiple leaked photos of the iPhone 5C casing have been seen floating around the Internet over the last several months. The device will mainly be pitched to international markets, specifically, China. Apple has even planned a sister keynote event in Beijing on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. There have been a few rumors that the Phone 5C may become available for purchase that day in the region. According to rumors thus far, the iPhone 5C would reportedly cost $99 if subsidized, and around $350 if purchased off contract.

iOS 7 Release Date

Ever since the June 10, 2013 WWDC keynote we've seen multiple betas of iOS 7 release with each bringing a few more features and improvements to Apple's native operating system. iOS 7 is a drastic change from the look and feel of iOS 6, incorporating a completely revamped user interface with flat icons and ultra skinny text. In addition, there are multiple new features such as a lockscreen control center, changes to the music player, app switcher, updates to Safari and more. In the past whenever Apple has released a new firmware, it is often in line with the release of a new iPhone. Since the iPhone 5S is scheduled to be revealed on September 10, 2013 during the Apple keynote live stream, we can expect to hear the final release date for iOS 7 as well.

The new 2013 iMac and MacBook Pro could see a launch at Apple's September 2013 keynote. If the new products launch the latest version of OSX Mavericks could see a release that day as well. (Photo: Apple)

iPad 5, iPad Mini 2, MacBook iMac and OSX Mavericks

In terms of the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 it is not very likely we'll hear anything about these devices at Apple's September 10, 2013 keynote. Generally the iPad has always had its own separate event and so we expect the same will be true this year as well.

As to a new line of MacBook Pros, it has been rumored that those may make their appearance at Apple's September 10 event. Rumors of an iMac launch have also been circulating around the Apple keynote as retailers such as MacMall and Best Buy have been seen cutting prices on the older 2012 models. Meanwhile, OSX Mavericks has had multiple betas released this summer and if the new MacBook Pros or iMacs are launched at Tuesdays iPhone 5S event, then it's possible Mavericks will be released that day as well.
