Borderland 2 shift codes were given out Wednesday in honor of the Krieg the Psycho DLC character launch while the final DLC campaign "Tiny Tina's release date was also announced as June 25th.

Borderlands 2 'Tiny Tina" DLC Releases June 25: Price, Platforms and Availability

Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep release date was just announced this morning as June 25 and will be available for just 9.99 USD or 800 Microsoft points. However for those users holding a season pass, the DLC is free for them. The latest DLC will come to all platforms including PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Borderland 2 DLC Shooter Character Krieg the Psycho Released: Watch the Launch Trailer for Psycho Krieg

On Thursday morning a new Borderlands 2 DLC trailer was released which gives us insight about on of its new shooter characters, Psycho Krieg. Krieg the Psycho Bandit is Borderlands 2's sixth vault hunter, and was just made available Wednesday for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC at just $10. It's important to note that this character does not come free with a season pass, but today Gearbox released a new trailer showcasing Psycho Krieg. Be sure to check it out below.

'Borderlands 2' Shift Codes For PS3, PC and Xbox 360: Free Gear Given In Honor Of Latest DLC Release

If getting a release date for the Tiny Tina DLC on top of a trailer for the latest character were not enough Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software decided to sweeten the deal by giving out  free SHiFT Codes on Tuesday giving fans a single golden key which allows players to open a special loot chest which holds a special treat-level-appropriate gear which cannot be found anywhere else. These codes honored the release of the most recent addition of a 6th character Psycho Krieg
