Fans of the "The Song of Ice and Fire" book series were tormented after they learned George R.R. Martine failed to meet the scheduled release of "The Winds of Winter." The 67-year-old author is now feeling the pressure of meeting his deadline, which will be before "Game of Thrones" Season 6 television series' launch, and now feeling depressed and might need a helping hand.

The American novelist can't contain his emotions and spilled his thoughts on a lengthy message he posted on Live Journal on Jan. 2. He looked quite depressed as he said the sixth installment from his own book series was not yet complete, according to Mashable.

In fact, the story writer disclosed he already missed two of his deadlines, which was on Halloween and New Year's Eve. "THE WINDS OF WINTER is not finished," Martin revealed.

"You're disappointed, and you're not alone. My editors and publishers are disappointed, HBO is disappointed, my agents and foreign publishers and translators are disappointed," he continued. "But no one could possibly be more disappointed than me. For months now I have wanted nothing so much as to be able to say, 'I have completed and delivered THE WINDS OF WINTER" on or before the last day of 2015.'"

Unfortunately, he hasn't said the words he has been longing to say. It has been known that the plot of his epic fantasy novels is very complicated, Parent Herald reported.

In fact, he used a fan-made website Westeros.org to keep track on every character and each and everyone's stories. The web page was made by Martin and "The Song of Ice and Fire" enthusiast, Elio Garcia.

Furthermore, it has been said that the avid fan might be the one GRRM might be looking for as he needs his self now to finish "The Winds of Winter." However, the author divulged "It will be done when it's done."
