Jennifer Lawrence landed her first 2016 cover for Glamour magazine's February issue. And in an accompanied interview, the 25-year-old star revealed her fashion style that goes from being edgy fashionista, to old Hollywood glam to the now quite controversial "slutty power lesbian."

The spread's editor-in-chief Cindi Leive questioned the actress about how would she described her fashion statement. "'Slutty power lesbian' that is literally what I say to a stylist. I don't know if that's offensive," she answered, Glamour reported.

Leive, on the other hand, thought that she hasn't even seen the "Hunger Games" star in a man-like kind of clothing. She, then, explained that as she is an endorser of Dior clothing, she was often seen on her feminine and stunning side.

"So you don't see me as a slutty power lesbian on the red carpet a lot, because I'm embodying the Dior woman, which is an honor....," Lawrence said. "But [also] I've got tits and an ass. And there are things that are made for skinny people—like a lot of embroidery, or it covers a lot—and those make me look fat. I have to show the lumps. If you have boobs, you have to show, like, 'These are boobs. This isn't cellulite.'"

However, some quickly reacted to Lawrence's claim as some said that she was "promoting the gender appropriation of lesbian style," according to MTV. But Ruby Rose, a known homosexual actress, came on her defense in an interview with New York Magazine's "The Cut" and said that she doesn't find her remark malicious.

"I hadn't heard that quote until you told me just now," the 29-year-old Aussie actress said. "But what I do know is that Jennifer Lawrence is an amazing actress and an amazing advocate for women and women's empowerment and the wage gap in Hollywood and so many amazing things. I think that is an easy quote to misinterpret or to pick apart."
